This fantastic film based event will really push your teams planning and creativity skills. The event is run by Mind Adrenaline facilitators with a professional video production team to help with all the aspects of producing a film.

This is your team’s chance to be really creative! Teams will go to extraordinary lengths to produce something out of the ordinary and usually with fantastic results!

We have two options for this fantastic film based event that are both enjoyable and require excellent team work.

Option 1
This events main focus is on how the team sees itself and how it would market its talent pool to the outside world.

The majority of the day will be spent on planning the production of a 2/3-minute corporate video or ‘infomercial’ that promotes this to internal customers. Each team will need to storyboard, shoot and edit the video.

A budget will be made available to help produce the videos, however each team must produce a business case on what proportion of the budget they think they need and pitch this to the board. A successful pitch will result in a good budget, props and professional equipment. Being unsuccessful could result in no money, a few dodgy wigs and a shaky hand held video camera.

At the end of the day only one team will get the backing from the board and “Get Hired”, the result being their video being professionally edited and produced as a fantastic DVD.

The key to success will be commercial planning, cross-functional working, creativity and understanding the customer.

Option 2
Split into teams, you have the choice of creating your very own company’s adaptation of a film.

Your team will be given a digital video camera, an experienced film-maker and a prop box of bizarre items in order to assist you in the art of shooting and editing your very own epic Blockbuster! You will have direct control over the preparation the production of your film.

Format of the day:
Each team is given a film genre (i.e. Western, Star Trek/Aliens, James Bond, Bollywood, Kung Fu) to base their pitch around
Each team pitches their idea and the teams decide which will go forward to production.
One film is made according to the winning pitch, the losing teams are directed by the winning team.

The winning team allocates the roles to include every participant. This can include casting the characters, sound, camera operators, director, costume & wardrobe

You must work hard together to write a script, plan your roles, location, wardrobe, film & camera crew, rehearse, shoot and edit your film! This is your team’s chance to be really creative! Teams will go to extraordinary lengths to produce something out of the ordinary and usually with fantastic results!

Both events are run by Mind Adrenaline facilitators with a professional video production team. There will be a number of professional video production staff to help the teams with the filming.
