Don't make a meal of it

Ever fancied yourself as a bit of chef? Maybe not after Hell’s Kitchen, but this day is all about working together. You don’t just learn about food and cooking but about the most important ingredient – people! You’ll get the chance tackle a number of cooking challenges that can include opening a new restaurant, playing the Generation Game, taking part in our MasterChef competition and answering the foodie quiz.

For the main part of the event the team will work together to plan, prepare and cook a meal that includes starters, main courses and desserts

The team will need to:

Consider the type of restaurant they will be running by determining the style of cooking, name the restaurant accordingly and design the marketing materials.

Design the table layout and make the menu cards
Decide on roles from Restaurant Manager to Head Chef and how these can be rotated

Give and receive feedback via the ‘Customer Comments’ board

Our professional chef will be on hand to provide advice, health and safety and run demonstrations, but it is essentially up to the team to decide what to cook. Ingredients are provided ‘Ready, Steady, Cook’ style to give the team a range of menu options. At the end of the day teams will sit down and eat the food they have made.

This is a fully facilitated event hosted by Mind Adrenaline facilitators and run by professional chefs. We have venues in a number of locations around London and the South East.
