Team Apprentice
Based on the popular TV show, we have number of different scenarios that gets teams tackling challenging business games, but will they win the backing of the board and “Get Hired”?
Event Options
Supermarket Wars - Teams are given the task of running a virtual supermarket for the day. They must work together to tackle a number of challenges that include thinking about a future way of working for the management team, maximising profit by choosing which products to sell and developing a new product for the stores. This subject is suitable for all groups as it gets everyone on a level playing field.
Blaggers Inc – After a fast and furious trading floor style game to get the teams ready, we provide each team with cash and a list of items that they must find and buy. This is not just a simple ‘buying’ task as we expect you to get everything we list for under the retail price. The better you do, the more points you get. We research whatever area you are in to find the best and weirdest items for you to buy. You’ll need to have your best negotiation head on though as we will involve a few shopkeepers to keep you on your toes!
M.A.D. Shopping Channel - Roll up, roll up twoferrapaaaaand! Teams are given the task of developing a number of new products to sell on our shopping channel. We supply the themes but they must come up with the design concepts, put together customer demonstrations and also build prototypes of the products! Our professional film crew will set up a studio(s) in a venue of your choice complete with cameras, mics and props. The videos recorded are played back to the whole group at the end.
Project Cook - Teams have to cook, package and market a number of food items (e.g. sweets and cakes) to sell to the public at the end of the day. They will need to plan the food and think of a marketing strategy that must be pitched to the board and chefs. However ingredients will be limited so the teams that present the best pitches will get an advantage by getting to the food store first. Teams then get cooking and at the end of the session will be given a table to dress and put up their marketing. It’s then a battle to sell as much as you can in limited time! Professional chefs will be on hand to provide advice, health and safety and run demonstrations, but it is essentially up to the team to decide what to cook.
